Joao-Antonio Brinca joins the Board of Directors of Banque Piguet Galland & Cie SA

Banque Piguet Galland is pleased to announce the appointment of Joao-Antonio Brinca to its Board of Directors. He took up his position on 1 May 2025.

Aged 52, Joao-Antonio Brinca is currently a Director at Banque Cantonale Vaudoise (BCV), where he heads the Strategy and Organisation Department. He has extensive experience in supporting strategic transformations and possesses deep expertise in technological developments and innovation within the financial sector.

His appointment comes at a time of strong performance for Piguet Galland, marked by numerous initiatives in personalised advisory services and digitalisation. The arrival of Joao-Antonio Brinca reflects the Bank’s commitment to enhancing its strategic foresight in response to the evolving banking landscape.

A physics graduate from EPFL (MSc, 1999), he also holds an Advanced Certificate for Executives in Management, Innovation, and Technology from the MIT Sloan School of Management in Boston (2022). After beginning his career at Arthur Andersen, Joao-Antonio Brinca joined BCV in 2006. Since 2012, he has led the Strategy and Organisation Department and represents BCV on the board of the Foundation for Innovation and Technology, where he serves as Vice-Chairman.
