A national recognition for Piguet Galland’s digital innovation.
Our e-banking app has been nominated for the Best of Swiss Apps Awards 2025, a competition that rewards Switzerland’s most innovative and accomplished digital projects each year.
This distinction highlights the technological excellence, creativity and quality of execution of applications developed in the country.
Created in 2013, the Best of Swiss Apps Awards aim to promote the quality of the Swiss mobile ecosystem. The competition recognises exemplary projects, fosters collaboration between ambitious clients and creative agencies, and encourages the sharing of best practices in the digital field.
For the nominated companies, this award represents far more than a trophy: it is an institutional recognition, a visibility booster, and an external validation of the quality of the work accomplished.
“We already had an e-banking platform, but it was limited to the most functional aspects,” explains Jordi Domenech, Chief Technology Officer at Piguet Galland.
“We wanted to go further and turn this platform into a genuine digital experience, with a redesigned interface to enhance engagement and allow the gradual addition of personalised features.”
This ambition resulted in the launch of a new user experience, already including the possibility to carry out a wealth assessment directly within the app — the first step in a broader vision.
The project had a dual purpose:
For users: to offer a smooth, intuitive and modern experience, on par with the best apps on the market.
For the bank: to lay the foundations of a scalable platform dedicated to personalisation and client engagement.
“The biggest challenge was connecting our new technological foundation to our legacy Core Banking system while ensuring 24/7 availability,” notes Jordi Domenech.
This success was made possible thanks to close collaboration with our partners Elca (digital) and FNZ (Core Banking), who supported the bank throughout the design and deployment phases.
“It’s a wonderful recognition of our vision as a company, and a public reward for the collective efforts made to bring this transformation to life,” says Jordi.
“We hadn’t sought to enter the competition – our priority has always been client satisfaction. But seeing this work recognised at such a level is an immense source of pride.”
This nomination demonstrates that a Romandy-based private bank, with a human-scale team, can successfully achieve an ambitious digital transformation while staying true to its values.
With its modular architecture and agile approach, Piguet Galland can now integrate new client journeys more quickly and test new features for the direct benefit of its users.
“We want our app to become a true digital companion – one that supports our clients in all their wealth management thinking and life projects, at any time,” concludes Jordi Domenech.
