In 2026, Piguet Galland will take part in the Patrouille des Glaciers with its own team: the Piguet Galland Rope Team.

An emblematic race with a deeper meaning

Founded during the Second World War, the Patrouille des Glaciers is today one of the world’s most iconic ski-mountaineering races. Organised by the Swiss Army, it embodies the very essence of the rope team spirit: solidarity, discipline and respect for the mountain.

More than a sporting challenge, the Patrouille des Glaciers is a collective endeavour, where every decision and every step is taken together.

The Arolla–Verbier route

The Piguet Galland Rope Team will compete on the route linking Arolla to Verbier.

A demanding course stretching over 29.6 kilometres, with 2,200 metres of positive elevation gain, crossing majestic alpine landscapes before reaching Verbier.

This finish point is no coincidence. Verbier is also where the Piguet Galland Line comes to life — a long-term project designed to connect people, places and ambitions.
