When selecting investments, we take into account the requirements of the legislation on occupational retirement, survivors' and invalidity pensions (BVV 2 / OPP 2).
- Piguet Galland's BVG40/LPP40 institutional management has consistently delivered an annualised return of 0.6% above its benchmark index.
- We have similar results for BVG25/LPP25 management.
Balanced Mandate BVG25 / LPP25
Customised mandate available. For example:- Minimum 25% in international bonds
- Maximum 35% international equities
- Maximum 15% investment in property, via units in collective investments and real estate companies
- Up to 25% cash authorised
- Maximum 30% in a currency other than the Swiss franc (CHF) without currency hedging
Balanced Mandate BVG40 / LPP40
Customised mandate available. For example:- Minimum 25% in international bonds
- Maximum 50% international equities
- Maximum 15% investment in property, via units in collective investments and real estate companies
- Up to 25% cash authorised
- Maximum 30% in a currency other than the Swiss franc (CHF) without currency hedging

Daniel Varela holds a degree in business administration with a specialisation in finance from the University of Geneva and began his career in 1989 as a fixed income manager. He joined Banque Piguet & Cie in 1999 as head of institutional asset management and with responsibility for bond analysis and management. In 2011, he became head of the investment strategy and Piguet Galland's investment department. In 2012, he joined Piguet Galland's Executive Committee as CIO.
